Anyone else at WebNX with servers who have had extremely sluggish network performance from their Utah DC to the East Coast NA? This has been going on for a few days now, and support has always maintained there was no problem with their network, just a DDoS, and traffic was diverted. However, it appears that it is not the case with me.
I tried a variety of VPS from different places, including NY (colocrossing), Canada (OVH), Florida (DediPath), Singapore (Leaseweb), and others, with variable results, but the main line was that it was unreliable. When downloading their network test file (https://mirrors-ogd.webnx.com/test/1gb.bin), for example, the download speed ranged from 100KB/s to 2MB/s. My SG server would occasionally exceed 20MB/s, but only for a short time. This one is nice, roughly 30MB/s, according to my LA server (colocrossing).
I tried a bunch of iPerf3 tests as well, but they all came up with the same result: it's exceedingly sluggish.
I'm just curious whether I'm the only one who has seen this.
