Can I request that the provider execute the test on the server disc?

I understand that when purchasing a dedicated server, the disc may fail.

Now, my concern is: Is it reasonable to request that the provider do a test on my server disc to ensure that it is in excellent working order?

Do you mean throughout my service or before I make a purchase?
