The practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.
Cloud services enable users to access and download files wireless from one computer to another.

Benefits of Using Cloud Server Hosting
It is believed to be the most reliable, cost-effective, and essential solutions for large, medium, and small businesses.

1) Cost-Effective of Operation: – As all data is stored on the cloud (over the Internet), the cost to set up IT infrastructure is reduced, which also reduces the cost of regular upgrade and maintenance of hardware and software.

2) Increased Efficiency: – As there is less equipment involved in setting and running an IT infrastructure over the ‘cloud’, you need less people to manage it, which allow you to reduce your costs more. With less support staffs involved, the productivity will increase.

3) Better Accessibility: – With the cloud, you can easily access your data and services over the Internet, from anywhere and anytime. You can have your data wherever you want, making things easier for you.

4) Higher Level of Security: –Data centers at multiple locations allow for redundant backups in case the server mal-functions or faces undesired natural disasters such as fire outbreak.
Similarly, in-built multi-tiered security mechanism protects your data from malicious software and hackers/crackers.

5) Unlimited Storage Capacities: – When you are using cloud server hosting, you have UNLIMITED storage capacity in the cloud.

6) Better Collaboration: – All your files and documents are organized and stored in one place on the cloud, it becomes VERY easy to collaborate with others in the team when working on a specific file, document, or a project.

7) Disaster Recovery: –With cloud server hosting, providers are 100% responsible for recoveries of data and services in case disaster strikes.

Cloud Server Hosting vs. Dedicated Hosting
Server hosting can be very expensive and a hassle, especially when you are managing your own dedicated server.
Cloud server hosting offers the same features such as the ‘dedicated’ or ‘shared’ servers with the added benefit that you are not responsible for upgrading and maintaining them.

Cloud hosting makes cloud resources available to apps and websites. Solutions are not placed on a single server, unlike traditional hosting. Instead, the application or website is hosted by a network of connected virtual and physical cloud servers, allowing for greater flexibility and scalability.

The advantages of cloud hosting:
Cloud hosting makes it exceedingly simple to quickly assign resources to meet a website's or application's changing needs. From the available resources in the cluster of servers, you can add or remove resources such as storage, bandwidth, and RAM.

Cloud computing refers to the on-demand availability of computer system resources, particularly data storage and computational power, without the user having to manage them directly. Functions in large clouds are frequently dispersed over numerous locations, each of which is a data centre.
Advantages
1. Financial savings. The cost reductions are one of the most compelling reasons to migrate to the cloud.
2. Usability.
3. Automation and increased storage capacity.
4. Scalability, agility, and flexibility
5. Reducing the size of your IT team.
