If you don't have access to SSH, you can use this method to clear the default mail account. Simply launch File Manager after logging into your cPanel account.
As illustrated in the picture below, go to the'mail' directory in your home directory.
Simply pick the 'cur' and 'new' folders and click the delete button. cPanel will regenerate these folders if you delete them.
If you have a dedicated server, you can disable the catch-all function by going to WHM >> Configure the server >> Make changes to the settings >> Set the value of the field Initial default/catch-all forwarder destination to fail while sending mail.
If you select this setting, no spam emails will be sent to the default cPanel mail account if the desired mail account does not exist.
