Hi,
Whats the best solutions for overcoming slow server performance?

Try this solution may be its help you

1.upgrade to the latest server version
2.upgrade your memory
3.check task manager
4.Look in the event log
5.Run sp_blitz

I have also same issue but when i start the mysql service then only server down slow.
please help me .
